OSM PRO
Dispatch & billing · oil and natural gas

Every load has two sides. They should agree.

OSM Pro dispatches trucks and bills the work for carriers hauling for oil and natural gas producers — holding what was tendered against what actually happened, so the difference is settled before the invoice goes out rather than after.

Built for oil and gas hauling. Deliberately not freight software.

General fleet software is built around volume and weight shipments, the way LTL freight works. That model does not describe a vacuum truck sitting on a lease waiting to load, billed by the hour against a tolerance the customer agreed in advance.

OSM Pro was designed in partnership with carriers working for oil and natural gas producers, around the way that work is actually tendered, run, audited and invoiced.

What it does

One record, from the tender to the invoice.

The same load moves through every step below without being re-entered, and what each party agreed stays attached to it the whole way.

01

Tender

The energy company raises the work with its own coding, locations and expected times attached.

02

Dispatch

Boards by status, with truck, trailer, driver and crew assigned against the load.

03

Run

Event times and quantities captured as the job happens, from the field or from the radio.

04

Audit

Times, quantities, locations and commodities checked against the tender, within the tolerances agreed with that customer.

05

Invoice

Billing rules per customer, with the tender and tickets packaged alongside the invoice.

Who it is for

Both parties to the load, on the same record.

A carrier can be its own energy company, and can haul for companies outside the network — the system is built for that rather than around it.

Carriers

Dispatch the work, and bill it accurately

  • Status boards for pending, assigned, active, closed and cancelled loads.
  • Order entry and dispatch against trucks, trailers, drivers and crews.
  • Time, quantity, location and commodity audits against the tendered baseline.
  • Per-customer billing rules, invoice packets, and export to QuickBooks.
Oil & gas producers

Tender the work, and see what happened

  • Raise tenders with your own accounts, report centres and routing attached.
  • Visibility of loads as they are dispatched and run, not after the fact.
  • Review and approve variances before they reach an invoice.
  • Payables set against what was actually hauled.
Where it is going

OSM Pro is being rebuilt as a web platform.

Delivered in stages, with nothing switched off until its replacement has been proven against your own data. The roadmap is published, staged rather than dated, and kept current.
