What we collect, and what we do with it.
This site has one form on it. That form is the only thing here that collects anything about you, and this page describes exactly what happens to what you type into it.
The short version
We collect what you put in the contact form, we email it to ourselves, and we reply to you. There is no database, no analytics, no advertising, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone for their own purposes. If you never use the form, we have nothing about you at all.
What the form collects
| Field | Required | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Yes | So we know who we are replying to |
| Yes | So we can reply | |
| Message | Yes | So we know what you are asking |
| Company | No | Context — carrier, energy company, or something else |
| Phone | No | Only if you would rather we called |
One further item is added automatically: a two-letter country code derived from your network connection, included so we know roughly where an enquiry came from. Your IP address itself is not stored by us and is not included in the email.
Where it goes
When you submit the form, it is sent to a Cloudflare Worker on this site's own domain. That code checks the spam protection, then sends the contents as an ordinary email to our sales mailbox through Microsoft 365. It is not written to any database, and the Worker keeps no copy.
From that point it is an email in our mailbox, and it stays there like any other business correspondence until it is deleted in the normal course of things.
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare — hosts this site and runs the code that handles the form. Like any web host, it processes the network requests that reach the site.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — the “verify you are human” check on the form. It receives your IP address and signals from your browser in order to tell a person from a bot. We use it precisely because it does that without profiling you or tracking you across sites.
- Microsoft — delivers and stores the resulting email, as it does all of our business email.
These are service providers acting on our behalf. Nobody is given your details to use for their own marketing, and nothing here is sold.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social media trackers. Turnstile may store a small amount of data in your browser for its own bot-detection, which is what makes it work without showing you a puzzle.
Spam protection
The form contains a hidden field that is invisible to people and that automated bots tend to fill in. If it is filled in, the submission is silently discarded. If you are a person using an ordinary browser, this never affects you.
Your choices
If you have sent us an enquiry and would like a copy of it, or would like it deleted, email sales@osmpro.com and say so. It is an email in a mailbox, so both are straightforward. Depending on where you live you may have a formal right to make that request; we would rather simply do it than debate whether you are entitled to ask.
You can also just email us directly instead of using the form, which involves one fewer party than submitting it here.
Children
This is software sold to oil and natural gas carriers and producers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this changes, the date below changes with it. We are not going to quietly start collecting more and leave this page as it was.
